35028 - Clan Line

Hi all,
Some Information has come to light that I have been made aware of regarding ClanLine for tomorrows run. It is as follows;

"If any of you guys were planning to go out and see Clan Line on the Pullman tomorrow, I have just heard that it has failed.

A colleague arrived at Stew Lane at 08 00 this morning to be met by glum faces in the lobby, apparently the loco had been failed within the last hour with a knackered rocking grate. He was told that hopefully all will be well by the weekend when repairs can be carried out once the parts have cooled down.

With Clan Line's Overhaul almost imminent, does anyone know how long she is expected to be out of traffic for? Also does anyone know which loco will be overtaking her duties on the VSOE?

Hi all,

I have a question that I hope someone is able to answer? Does anyone know when Clanline was in Unrebuilt form if she was ever in BR Blue Livery?
I'd be glad for a reply to this question and any others on the forum.
