All,
Latest news on the MHR website showing 45379 very close indded to steaming and test runs about to begin. I have had many good times working on this loco with the team a few years ago and I cannot wait to see this steam for the first time! I hope you will all congratulate the team with me on getting her running since 1965. A huge milestone!
I have done pipework, Internal Paintwork, Needle Gunning and helping to find new parts for the loco - As you can imagine a huge amount of work. Unfortunately I haven't been able to help in the past couple of years! But plenty of years of steaming yet to come.
