Hi all,

This seems to be one of the major reconstruction rebuilds in preservation because of the amount of new boiler parts having been made!!

More news is progressing on Taw Valley - Now showing the loco once more as a 4-6-2 and looking very good indeed. But, does anyone have any news on the boiler?

I seem to recall that somebody from Bridgnorth on the Severn Valley forum suggests late 2012 early 2013 for a return to action.

34027's Boiler has arrived back at Bridgnorth! Very Happy

Latest news is that 34027 has had her Steam Test. Attached is a photo of her since her major overhaul!

Fantastic job done by the SVR team! Very Happy

And I hear she has been fitted with an Air Brake? So possible return to mainline??
