My Long Term Friend "Les Greer"

I am sure that you will all share with me, that my long friend Les Greer, from Nine Elms; is going into the Works tomorrow, for repairs just off his "Middle Engine". In having his "Side Straps" replaced. Nine Elms men are renowned for being sympathetic, and any donations for said metal; please send to my address. It will cost me that in Beer, whilst wheeling him around in his "local Constituency"

If need be 34017 Ilfracombe - I can always pick you both up for the Nine Elms reunion at the Bluebell in October - I don't mind Hauling you about all day - its like bringing a bulleid with a 80000 Tank back to Nine Elms after a failure.....

How can you be promoted and then demoted? I don't work like that!!

Just been in contact by phone with Les, and he has had a pretty torid time. I am sure that you all share with me, that Les makes a speedy recovery. At least, Les had a smile on his face from the Banter. It will probably cost me his favourite tipple in about 5 weeks time, as he has invited me up to wheel him round his local. I shall certainly miss him at this years reunion!

Please pass on my Best Wishes! Lets hope he enjoys the banter and decides to come on the forum to share his thoughts??

I have spoken to Les this morning on the phone. Hopefully he wants me to go up and see him next month.... He has read my input, its just going to cost me dearly!

Lets get Less involved to cheer him up - He will certainly be missed from many of us at the Nine Elms reunion! I for one will miss his stories and he has so many!!! Urghhh, Where is a person when you you need them???

I hope he is doing well? Please keep us informed of his progress....
