Hi there, just found this forum, looks interesting. I see some mention of my dad (Pete Allen) which is great to read, my dad was a fireman at Salisbury...sadly he's no longer with us.
However, steam is in the blood and I do quite a lot of steam photography (www.mattallenphoto.co.uk).
One thing I'd really like is a steam era photo of my dad on the footplate so if anyone can help please get in touch. Thanks.
