An excellent machine. Here is 35030 waiting to leave Waterloo on Monday 3rd July 1967 with the 8.35 down with Norman Prior waiting for the off on his last Bournemouth return driving turn. He came back on the 12.33 Bournemouth - Waterloo with 35023 but that is another story!

Does anyone know who the other gentleman is??

that is a smashing picture - you could easily convince a non rail enthusiast it was taken yesterday...the quality is really good Very Happy
