33103 moving to the Bluebell Railway
Dependant on the availability of road transport Class 33 33103 Swordfish is due to be moved from Burton to the Bluebell Railway within the next few days. The locomotive is being brought in primarily to help facilitate the completion of works associated with the extension but will probably stay on beyond it's opening.

Apparently she isn't going to be used for Passenger services?
Re: 33103 moving to the Bluebell Railway
Basically the locomotive is there for infrastructure work and I believe to act as a rescue loco should it be required. Certainly better than the resident "mobile water feature" (08). We will have to wait and see if it gets used on any passenger trains, however it should be noted that it ran with the Bluebells VEP when it visited Swanage.
