Re: Photos of Nine Elms Loco Shed
Firstly, a warm welcome to you and joining this forum Bryan.
I know some, have taken photographs of Nine Elms, whom will be (hopefully) at the reunion in August on the Bluebell.
It is going to be a long haul, getting us all together. As you appreciate, its not going to happen overnight. As Tim explained to me, at Eastleigh, the main site took months of getting ppl together. By word of mouth, and then it grew

Re: Photos of Nine Elms Loco Shed
Hi everyone,
I have some pics of the shed from around 1965 to 66. The pics will need to be scanned before I can post them but when I get 5 I will dig them out and put them in the gallery.
I remember those card schools too - you could lose your wages if you weren't careful!!

If you can dig those photos out for the gallery, we will be very greatful
With reference to the cards, only if Wolly Snelling was playing

Hi,
have put some pics in personal album. If you cannot access them from here please tell me which bit of the site to post them to. They are all from the period 1965 / 67. They were taken by my pal, the late Walter Hobson. Walter was an Old Oak man in the 1960's before ending up at Gateshead. He was driver on the class 91 which recorded the 154mph record down Stoke Bank. He died back in 2005 after 42 years on the footplate.

Hi 35013 Blue Funnel. Pics can easily be uploaded on to this site. To do this there are a number of buttons along the top when you reply and there is one if you highlight your cursor over it that says "Host an Image". It is a picture of a Floppy disk with a background behind it.
Once you do this, you choose File or URL and then Browse and select the image that you wish to upload. Keep the resize image as it is.
Once chosen you click the "Host it" button.
From there you will get another option. Choose the 2nd one to upload the image and click on "Copy" and then go to the thread and right click and paste into the thread that is already open. Once you are done clcik "Submit" and it will be there for all to see.
I hope this is Self-Explanatory? If not please let me know and I will try and direct you further - Failing that of course I can always create a step by step manual for anyone and post it for all to see.
Many Thanks
Andy
