I think some of us know what a real English breakfast tastes like off the shovel? Either lovely and cooked in no time at all - Or either completely cremated!!!

I've recently seen some Stews done in the smokebox! And from everything I've heard takes a few trips on a preserved line! Any calculations and info why some they do so well and others they don't cook? Surely the Smokebox when a loco is in steam and running it will heat and cook things quicker and when stationary will keep it hot..... A bit like a slow-cooker.... Hope this makes sense?
