34056 at Basingstoke

Here's one of my favourite shots from the days of steam. I did a lot of lineside photography in 1962 with a crappy east german 35 mm camera and even more in 1963 with a half decent 6x6 camera but not a lot after that, so this 1966 shot is highly valued by me. The 5 behind was on the 541 down.

If this doesn't get into the right section Andy please feel free to move it.

A very good and clear shot considering how much photography has changed. I feel it is fine to stay in this section as long as you are happy with it here?

An excellent picture of 34056 Don, I dont recognise the crew though.

34056 was a good engine

It was the 6pm down and the driver was Ted Male, NE 3 link (?). Fireman Colin Grey I think (?). This turn seemed to vary between Nine Elms and Salisbury.
