2011 Railtours Empty 2011 Railtours

Hi all,

I am thinking about re-designing the forum to display up and coming Railtours, as well as advertising these on the Calendar with times etc...

For now - This one looks a very good one; http://www.ukrailtours.com/tourshow.asp?tourtype=excursion_trains&tourfile=110716_THE_BLACKMORE_VALE_EXPRESS.txt - Has got to be worth it with Clanline at the Helm and seeing her being turned at Yeovil?

Many Thanks

Best Wishes

Andy

Yes, it does look very good, but for an extra £10.50 on to of the Standard Ticket price, I've got a trip on 09 September, for 4 days and 3 nights, staying half board at the Park Inn York Hotel - www.york.parkinn.co.uk Shocked

Heaven knows what I could possibly find to do in York! Rolling Eyes

Answers on a postcard please......................

I would say try the KWVR? But not sure what the routes are like from York to Keighley? (Normally York to Leeds and onwards to Keighley) About an hour's rail journey overall I think?
Although you do have York Museum which is closer.

And if you go further North you could always try the NYMR - Again about an hour away...

There are other things to do of course. Wink

Thanks for the suggestions, Admin.

I suppose I could force myself to visit The York Brewery - http://www.york-brewery.co.uk/

It's a tough job, but someone's got to do it!! cheers2

I have uploaded a couple of videos of 2 Railtours that I have been to take videos of so far this year. Feel free to have a look. Any Feedback will be much appreciated.

Recent one taken yesterday (30/03/11) with 34067 'Tangmere' on the Sussex Belle at Wadhurst:

One taken in February with 44932 on the 'Valentines Sussex Belle' taken at Stonegate on the 12th Feb 2011:
